A Superior Court judge denied Ant Anstead‘s petition for full custody of his 2-year-old son, Hudsonwith “Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack.
On April 28, the court ruled Anstead, 43, provided an “insufficient showing” of evidence in his petition filed on the same day.
In court documents obtained by Page SixAnstead requested full custody of their toddler.
Anstead, who was married to Haack for two years, told the court that his ex-wife spent an “average of 9 full days each month over the last 20 months” with their son.
He also objected to the reality TV star posting photos of their son in paid promotions on her popular social media accounts.
Anstead and Haack previously agreed to joint custody of Hudson, who was born in September 2019. They divorced in 2020.
Anstead complained that Haack returned Hudson to him in January without telling him the child had tested positive for Covid-19, according to TMZ.
On a special occasion, Hudson returned home from vacation with a severe sunburn.
Anstead said Haack maintained an unsafe environment for their son after she admitted to smoking a hallucinogenic toad in an Instagram post.
Haack told Us Weekly in a statement that she is “deeply” saddened by his allegations.
“If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them. “
