Murder suspect Casey Cole White was extradited back to Alabama from Evanston, Illinois on Tuesday night.
White and corrections officer Vicky White were captured in Evanston, Illinois on Monday after 11 days on the run.
Vicky White died Tuesday from a self-inflicted single gunshot to the head.
White arrived at the Lauderdale County courthouse in Florence for his arraignment Tuesday night.
The 6-ft-9 career criminal was surrounded by heavily armed male sheriff’s lawyers. Lauderdale county Sheriff Rick Singleton told reporters he wasn’t taking any chances with White.
After his arraignment hearing, White was transferred to the Williams E. Donaldson Correctional Facility (state prison) in Bessemer, Alabama.

Officials say Casey and Vicky developed a “special relationship” over two years. On April 29, Vicky White helped Casey escape from the jail where she worked for 25 years.
White will be housed in solitary confinement away from other inmates at the state prison. Sources say he will not be guarded by female corrections officers.
According to LiveNOW from Fox, officials said they are going to keep a close eye on Casey White. White will not be able to use his charm to manipulate lonely women.
