Smith was hospitalized with double pneumonia for the New Year, and he recognized the vaccine, saying, “She almost took me off.”

The 54-year-old Smith returned Monday to the set of ESPN’s “First Double” program, where he told viewers that his doctors said that without the vaccine he would have died.
“I didn’t know if I would make it. I was told that if I hadn’t been vaccinated, I wouldn’t be here. I was so bad. The vaccine, according to [my doctors] saved me, ”said Smith, who has been vaccinated three times.
But Owens called his remark “stupidity” and suggested that his life was saved by his doctors, not the vaccine.
She tweeted:

She added:
