Arun Bali was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disease; hospitalized: Bollywood News

Veteran actor Arun Bali, who is recognized for his iconic roles in 3 Idiots, Kedarnath, Panipat among many other films, a rare long-term neuromuscular disease myasthenia gravis was diagnosed. It is reported that the actor is hospitalized in Hiranandani Hospital.

According to the publication, Nupur Alankar, a CINTAA member who has known him for many years, was talking to Arun Bali on the phone when she noticed something was wrong in his speech. She also mentioned when she felt there was something wrong with his speech, and pointed it out to him. She later tried to contact his son Ankush, but was unable to. She also tried to call Rajiv Menon, who is a colleague of Ankush, and got his other number and advised him to take Arun to the hospital immediately.

Aruna Bali’s daughter later told Nupur that her parents had diagnosed her with myasthenia gravis, a rare autoimmune disease caused by a breakdown in nerves and muscles.

Arun Bali, born December 23, 1942, is an Indian actor who has worked in several films and series. He played the role of King Porus in the 1991 drama Chanakya, and Kunwar Singh in the soap opera Doordarshan Swabhiman.
